I really enjoy the story line and I would have been into it more if the story moved faster.
One spicy scene took over 30 minutes to get to the good part of the spice, the FMC’s internal dialogue is painful.
I also have a thing about details. The FMC was held captive for two weeks and when rescued she was taken to a MMC’s bedroom given medical aid and had spicy time and then took a shower….. she hadn’t showered in two weeks. Super gross.
She took a shower after her wounds were treated, that doesn’t make sense.
The lack of attention to detail really made me switch off and get bored.
I truely wanted to like this book, I struggled through the first two and had several months break before this one and I still just could not finish it.
