Really timely and relevant. There’s a lot here that the church needs to comprehend to preach the gospel effectively.

Gene Edward Veith Jnr has provided us with a great read and challenge to much of the popular thinking of today. His research and well argued and presented book finishes with a significant up to date insight concerning the ‘new name’, Post-Secular and gives us plenty of material to consider in light of our culture and its present stances and positions. He also engages with authors such as Rod Dreher (The Benedict Option), which gives this book a real cutting edge to insights about proposals for ‘counter-cultural’ and other responses to ‘society’s predilections’. I am thrilled with this contribution and urge others to read and digest and compare and contrast as well as to test ones own positions, worldview, prejudices and understandings. I found the narrator’s performance very appropriate and fruitful for the book’s purpose as outlined in earlier chapters.

Extremely helpful well researched
