Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Willow Winters comes an emotionally gripping, standalone, contemporary romance.

It was never love with Daniel, and I never thought it would be. It was only lust from a distance. Unrequited love maybe. He's a man I could never have, for so many reasons. That didn't stop my heart from beating wildly when his eyes pierced through me. It only slowed back down when he'd look away, making me feel so damn unworthy and reminding me that he would never be mine.

Years have passed, and one look at him brings it all back. But time changes everything.

There's a heat in his eyes I recognize from so long ago, a tension between us I thought was one-sided.

"Tell me you want it." His rough voice cuts through the night, and I can't resist. That's where my story really begins.

Possessive

This book is edgy, and suspenseful and all the things a good dark romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!

Love me some CJ Bloom

I have to say I only stuck with this one simply because I love CJ Bloom. I love her as a narrator. She is amazing and everything I listen to by her is fantastic. She never disappoints me. Colin was great too. I liked him as Daniel. I did not care for the story. I read Carters books before reading this one and it was even less interested when I found out this is Addison's story. It was ok to see their history and all that, but I did not care for their story whatsoever. Quite frankly I was bored. Had it bot been for the narrators I might have given up on Possessive.

LOVE SICK

A sad but beautiful love story. Has a lot of backflashes that sometimes confused me, so I had to listen carefully. Too much angst. Characters suffered a lot of grief over the death of a family member.

It should be a little bit more

What I mean is that when the author ended it like that. In my mind it was not complete. It’s still left you a little bit of wondering

Broken Souls

Wow what a story!!!! I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this book, but once I got started I couldn't put it down. This story is full of emotions, darkness, suspense, angst, love, hurt & amazing chemistry. Daniel &Addison are both damaged & their hearts are broken. But when they finally unite the chemistry is through the roof. But will the past year them apart. Without giving too much away, Possessive is a gut wrenching story of emotions. It's worth your time. I loved reading and adding the audible version along with it. The narrators did a great job of bringing out the emotions of Daniel and Addison. Thank you W Winters for this amazing story

Sad but good

Written well. I loved the concept of brothers falling in love with the same girl. Tyler’s departure was sad but mad he story deeply emotional.

What Happens Now?

I liked the story, but wished it wasn't so wrapped up in the past. I wanted to see what happens when these two characters move forward. I also wanted to know more about who was in the alley and what happens now. but currently there is no follow up book.

Decent

It was worth the read. There was an edge to it. I am not sure if it was the over dramatic feeling I was getting or how the entire story kept going to the past to a dead person and how that dead person was more of a hurtle than anything else. I don't know felt kind of depressing for most of the story and even the ending didn't feel that hopeful.

Wasn’t My Favorite, but Still Good

I have to be honest and say that I had a hard time getting into the story at first because I felt that I couldn’t connect with the two main characters. Addison just drove me crazy because she couldn’t make a decision. Daniel was mysterious, but there wasn’t much substance to him. I just felt that I didn’t know him that well. It might have a lot to do with the fact that I read Seth’s series first and there was no mention of Daniel or Tyler. So, I didn’t have a background of them. I understand now why Tyler wasn’t mentioned, and I was really sad reading about what happened to him. He seemed like such a nice guy. I know that the author try to make Daniel seem very ruthless and uncaring, but he came across as desperate. It’s hard to imagine a man who is supposed to be feared among people act as if he couldn’t live without a woman. That didn’t work for me. Still, I’m going to give it a pretty good review because I do enjoy Willow’s work. I may like him and Addison a lot better after reading the next few books. I do say that the Cross brothers are very interesting and I do look forward to reading their stories.

It was ok..

This book didn't captivate me the way I thought it would.. maybe it was the back and forth through time. I'm not sure I just know that the characters didn't draw me in
