Publisher's Summary

Theology is meant to cause you to think unto God, and then, when the right understanding of God (and the good news) makes its way into your heart, theology is meant to cause you to rise up singing and praising him for who he is and for what he has done, and will do, in your life. (Theology is for doxology.) So this isn't an attack on anyone, although it will involve a critique of some perspectives.

I do know what it's like to stand outside of your own faith tradition and to feel the pain of having to separate yourself from those who you were once close to you in your religious upbringing because of differences which may be insurmountable.

When those connections are severed because of the gospel, it can be painful. And maybe, you've experienced something of that same thing - a difficult canyon between you and someone you love because God's truth puts you at odds with one another.
