Dobrodružství čeká někdy tam, kde bychom ho nejméně čekali. A pobyt v nemocnici se může změnit v supertajnou misi! Nevěříte? Tom si to taky nemyslel. Pak ale dostal na tělocviku ránu kriketovým míčkem do hlavy a ocitl se v Nemocnici lorda Funta. A tam se na dětském oddělení setkal s Půlnočním gangem! Ale žádné strachy, tenhle gang totiž namísto páchání zločinů raději plní sny. Jasně, všude se najde nějaký problém, třeba vrchní sestra, co je zlá jak pes. Ale naštěstí pokaždé zbaští speciální čokoládové bonbóny a chrápe po nich jako parní traktor. A fantastickým nápadům Půlnočního gangu nestojí nic v cestě. A nebo přece jen... ?
