This book grabbed me and help me hostage from the get go! And the ending! You guys need to stop ending books like that! It’s gonna take me a second to process it!!!!

The Murdoch family is my new favourite Mafia family I can not wait to read all of their stories. In the beginning the MMC Bishop is very intense and a bit of a dick! But the more you get into this the more you can see why is was like that and you really fall for him! I loved Kiara and Bishop’s story, and the cliff hanger it ended on makes we want to jump straight into King’s story

1 chapters are too short.
2 female main comes across as judgy and bitter.
3. spicy chapters were as basic as an 80s porno.
4. no real chemistry between mains apart from the urge to tear each other's clothes off.
5 no depth into the story, just seems like a basic everyday situation I assume the Mafia does already, the person who is in real danger is almost forgotten about and its just always about the main guy wanting to sleep with the main girl.
6 theres a part where gage says he's known bishop most of his life but then later, bishop says he's only known gage since he found Kiara, which was like 3 years prior.
7 at the end the author talks about someone named quin, who up until that point id never heard of before yet they talk about him like he's been there the entire book.
several times throughout this book I've wanted to stop and start a different one but I thought, it's only 5 hours, I can finish it.
1 good thing about this book is its over. I wish I could get my credit back for this one but oh well.
all up I think the author is a good writer but I hope in the future she can dig deeper and really get to the core of the story and work on her character development and the chemistry her characters need to make a story/novel great.
