About this listen
Sydney is full of coffee shops, but none as exciting and full of drama as the Pink Bean!
In This Foreign Affair, heartbroken Zoya has a holiday romance with French tourist Camille but is faced with tough choices when the fling turns into something deeper. Old traumas come back to haunt yoga teacher Louise when the Pink Bean hires a new manager. Water Under Bridges explores the themes of change and forgiveness and whether people can ever truly move on from a dark past.
Book shop owner Annie and her wife, Jane, see their relationship challenged with the arrival of the Pink Bean into their lives. Find out how they navigate and overcome the struggles of a long-lasting marriage in No Other Love.
Contains mature themes.

No Other Love Book 6 is my favourite of the three. To paraphrase - Dear Gentlereader, this is not romance, it is a love story. The two FMCs are married and have been together 20 years. One of them becomes unexpectedly attracted to someone else and consequently finds herself out of sync with everything that is normal in her life. Bit by bit we see the intricacies of the obstacle course of staying in love in a long term relationship whilst dealing with outside influences and difficult emotions. There are many life lessons in this story. It is so much more than romance. 5 stars.
Water Under Bridges Book 5 is an enemies to lovers story that is so much deeper than anything I’ve read before in that trope. The complexities and consequences of teen bullying are given centre stage. Emotional scars and consequences for both perpetrator and victim are thoughtfully and thoroughly dissected. The only negative for me was that I have trouble accepting the enemies to lovers trope in general. My problem, I know.
Foreign Affair Book 4 in the series was a romance story from start to finish. Light and enjoyable. I can’t help but love a sexy French character.
Thought provoking and uplifting love stories - excellent performance
