It's Free and Worth a Listen
I found this conversation involving Peter May and Peter Forbes an interesting diversion from just listening to the stories. If you haven't read the book or any of the more "informative" reviews I'd suggest leaving it until afterwards. The Coffin Road reveals its plot very gradually and some of the reviews I've read and this interview may put you some way ahead of parts of that.
Both Peters are engaging conversationalists and you can certainly tell that Mr Forbes earns his money from talking :-)
In terms of the content I was genuinely surprised, given what a partnership they have been in audiobooks, that the author seems to almost completely divorce himself from the recording process. Obviously as the books prove it's something that works for them. May also briefly describes the process that saw him end up as an author eventually.
I would have liked to hear a bit more about the Coffin Road itself but on the other hand this does give some insight into the creative processes involved in writing and recording the books. I was also happy to hear Peter May discuss the key issue highlighted in the book with feeling.
Of course, as it's free, you have nothing to lose!
