About this listen

Perl programming at its best!

Instead of jumping right into the instructions, this book will provide you first with all the necessary concepts that you need to learn in order to make the learning process a whole lot easier. This way, you're sure not to get lost in confusion once you get to the more complex lessons provided in the latter chapters.

You will also learn the designs and forms of Perl, and what's more convenient than getting to know both sides?!

More than half of the book is taken up explaining what Perl is, including fundamental basics of what a programming language is, and the release history. Finishes with basic Perl language syntax and maybe ten minutes at most of actual advice.

The narration is awful, with important words swallowed, pauses in weird places, and run-ons where a pause is needed. It almost sounds like it's being read by an AI rather than a person.

This book is not worth the hour to listen it, much la anything you may be tempted to spend on it.

Not much advice, lots of background
