Publisher's Summary

I've caught a raging case of bosshole.

Signing on as a company driver for Brandt Ideas felt like a dream. Big-girl salary. Stellar benefits. Glorious people - minus one.

Nicholas Brandt was put on Earth to drive me insane. Of course, he's my boss man. He spent the first month mistaking me for a dude. Then he “apologized” with the grace of a drunken moose.

A perfect grump with a brutal reputation. A heart-thief sculpted like a fallen angel. A master at making me question all of my life decisions.

Why is it always the terrible ones who make a girl tingle?

The longer I'm stuck with Satan in endless Chicago traffic, the faster he wears me down.

When he needs a “date” at this rich-people charity dance, I crack. I say yes. I kiss my incurable, broken, off-limits boss - and God help me, I like it.

I invite disasters fated to rip my heart out. And just when Nick Brandt can't cut my life into tinier confetti, the unthinkable does.

Guess who wants to save me. Now guess how much barbed wire I've got to keep Mr. Anti-Perfect in exile....

Grumpy Nicholas

Reese was hired to work as a driver for Brandt Ideas to chauffeur Beatrice, Ward and Nicholas at a very nice salary. For six weeks Nicholas did not know she was female (even though she is very small at five feet). He ran his mouth from when he got in the car until she dropped him off at his destination. He does not find out she is a woman until they are at an event and she is there with his family. Of course, Ward says something to him. Pretty funny scene. In hindsight, foot in mouth. Something happens in Reese's life and Nick is there to help her. Rock Engle and Carly Robins did a great job with the narration although Rock sounded a bit old for Ward.

Nick & Reece

I loved this story and the Brandt family. It was a love story of how Nick finally overcame his previous life and poor decisions and fell in love with their company's driver. This story is different with many twist and turns on the emotional jouney to happiness and love.

Nick and Reece

I absolutely loved the story between Nick and Reece. Nick trying to get away from his manwhore past relationships, and immature decisions and falling for his driver when he realizes he is actually a she. Their rocky start and the lengths he went to help her, her sister and neice through a very difficult situation to prove to Reece she can depend on him. Their sizzling attraction just adds to the story. The only negative which I'm sorry to say that took a star was the female narrator. Her voices were grating and rushed with the intimate scenes that took away from it. Almost robotic. Had they used someone else it would have been even more enjoyable.

I made it through chapter 2

Wow. For me, this was absolutely horrible. Just wasn't catching me at all. I tried. I kept listening, hoping it would get better, but ugh. Threw in the towel after struggling to end of 2nd chapter. Narrator was ok.

Fun but nothing new

Nothing new from the last book about the older brother. Still steamy 👍. The male narrator does not do it for me.

Perfect Grump

I feel like the story would have been better with different narrators. Something was just off. Definatly needed a sexier man voice. I just had a hard time getting into it but feel if I read instead of listen it will be much better. Otherwise I think the concept was good.

Good

This is Nick's romance story, Ward's older brother. I liked this alright; some hot scenes and family drama. I liked Ward's story more for the hilarity but this was still good.

Love this series, but it wasn't my favorite.

I have loved the Perfect Grump series but honestly, this wasn’t my favorite of the bunch. I can’t quite put my finger on why I didn’t like it as well as the others. I liked Nick and Reese in the previous book, but I think there was so much going on in this plot of this one it felt like too much for me. The other 2 stories were office romances, but this one is a little different because Reese is the company driver. This also felt like it was a little too long. I was ready for the HEA and there was still a lot going on. After the beginning of the story, it also lacked some of the humor that Nicole Snow wrote into the other books.

While the story does start as enemies to lovers, that is quickly resolved and we end up diving into a lot of plot points. Reese ends up with temporary custody of her niece which means she can’t work, so Nick goes to great lengths at personal cost to hire a nanny and outfit a room at the company so Reese can keep working. Meanwhile, Nick is dealing with his psycho ex-girlfriend and I mean she is crazy. The wrap up of the plot is kind of a wild hot mess that had some moments that just didn’t make sense to me, but the ending of the romance was SUPER sweet and fitting for this couple.

Overall it was a fun and cute read that had a little too much going on for me and the middle felt a little slow. If you loved the others in this series, I would give it a read. It has some really funny lines in it, Nick and Reese are great characters, and I would have been disappointed not to get their story.

Just ok

After reading the previous stories I had high expectations but it fell short the male narrator just didn't do it for me but was glad to see how finding love can change a person's outlook.

So sweet!

Kind of like a modern Cinderella story with a few twists. This was an easy listen and entertaining!
