Summary

 Constable Paul Hirschhausen runs a one-cop station in the dry farming country south of the Flinders Ranges. Very good story but oh so slow for the first third - was screaming to get on with it!

It might have been the narrator, but I think the story was better as well.
A good whodunit!
Lots of twists and turns.
Some sad bits and happy bits all coming together to keep the reader listening.

Love Aussie books and Aussie authors.
I was never a fan of crime and cop stories but Garry Disher has reeled me in.
