Paul Temple Review

I have been listening to Paul Temple for over 10+ years and have loved the story, how it is written and the story can take different points of view, dramatic parts, hidden clues that we don’t think or even consider. I would recommend this to anyone who like old fashion story from the 20th Century.
I also find the audio book very relaxing and listen to it every day when I go to sleep.

Good entertainment value "if"

If you are a mystery junkie like me, and are willing to overlook some highly dubious (and sometimes repetitive) plot lines for the joy of a glimpse of British life that probably never existed. Pure escapism and quite violent, both of the main characters scarcely flinch as bodies drop all around them. Still you get 8 seasons of classic BBC radio, quite a bargain for the cost of one book!

Superb

If you could sum up Paul Temple: The Complete Radio Collection: Volume Three in three words, what would they be?

Old fashioned brilliance

What was one of the most memorable moments of Paul Temple: The Complete Radio Collection: Volume Three?

Loved all

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Loved all

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Suspend modernity

Any additional comments?

Love these politically incorrect dramas. I find them comforting and ignore the sexist and class bias lol. They are a product of their time and whilst I feel for the butlers. I listen over and over my memory so poor I rarely remember who the killer is.

Excellent nostalgia

I love these old radio detectives, but was a bit disappointed when I bought volume 3, to find that the Gilbert affair on vol2 is also on this volume. So if you bought volume 2 you will only get four different episodes instead of five. Otherwise excellent!

disapointing

I've only just started listening but the first episode is the same as the first episode on the 2nd cd.

Old time radio plays are the best

Original Paul Temple radio plays are the best of dramatic narration. Perfect acting, good storyline, believable characters - it's set in the 50th were murder is still shocking. I am absolutely addicted to this old-fashioned way of entertainment. Wish there were more of them...
