A great remake of classic radio series

While I have listened to all the old Paul Temple series available on Audible and played on BBC Radio, I have really enjoyed the these series in a new collection. I it takes a little bit of time in the first few episodes to get use to the new job actors, but once you do they contain the same vibe and feeling of the original radio series collections!

Great performances, good mysteries, very enjoyable

I very much enjoyed all of these Paul Temple radio show performances and wish there were more! The performances are fantastic and lots of fun to listen to! The only negative is all the glorification of alcohol and tobacco, which I know was the norm back then, but when someone has taken a tumble or whatever, brandy is really not the answer, seriously, ha. Otherwise, very enjoyable stories and performances.

By Timothy Steve!

Another Great collection of Paul Temple, Steve, Charlie & Sir Graham!
Ok, yes they are new remakes of the originals. However they have all the feel of the Golden Days of Crime Radio.
This is a must for any Paul Temple Fan! Or anyone who just wants to hear a "Proper" crime thriller!

Enjoyable, However....

This version of Paul Temple seems harsher and more bullying than of old, at least in the first 3 stories. In the remake of The Gregory Affair, the actor's approach to Paul Temple matches the original and he's much more charming and not quite as condescending. This may be down to differences in the scripts rather than differences in performance, but it made the first 3 stories much harder to listen to.

Good stories but...

Badly edited and recording corrupted at Chap 37 when it jumps and misses text. OK again at Chap 39.

Well done BBC fantastic remake

Being such a huge fan of the Peter Coke and Marjorie Westbury duo I was sceptical of this remake but i needed have been. Crawford Logan and Gerda Stevenson are perfect and it's been remade so faithfully to the original that it's a pure delight

The new Paul Temple and Steve!

Was a bit anxious that these were new performers, not the ones I have grown to love ... no worries. These guys brought it! Well done, really enjoyed all the stories and acting. Thank you.
Just a little note to the producer. I wanted to know which actors were playing which characters .... not "also taking part".

Really enjoyed it!

It was hard to believe that the performers weren't from the era that it was set in. Excellent portrayals.
