Story
Of all of John Irving's books, this is the one that lends itself best to audio. In print, Owen Meany's dialogue is set in capital letters; for this production, Irving himself selected Joe Barrett to deliver Meany's difficult voice as intended. In the summer of 1953, two 11-year-old boys – best friends – are playing in a Little League baseball game in Gravesend, New Hampshire. One of the boys hits a foul ball that kills the other boy's mother. The boy who hits the ball doesn't believe in accidents; Owen Meany believes he is God's instrument. What happens to Owen after that 1953 foul ball is extraordinary and terrifying.

Story
Here you have found a book so foul, so repulsive, so horrifying...that you will undoubtedly find yourself running to the nearest bathroom in an effort to both relieve your bowels and scrub your hands clean of its putrid filth. They have finally released this humorous collection of terrifying tales, despite the bitter public outcry which demanded these pages never see the light of day...and perhaps for good reason.

Publisher's Summary
Strange things happen when the clock strikes 12....
It is said that dreams are harmless, that they are nothing more than the meaningless fancies of an unconscious mind. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. This, of course, is something we tell ourselves when we wake up screaming in the dead of night. We repeat the mantra in order to bring ourselves back to reality, in order to remind ourselves that there is nothing to fear.
After all, nightmares can’t escape our minds, can they?
This book is merely a collection of dark and twisted dreams, so listeners should know that there is nothing to be afraid of. When thoughts of these stories cause them to wake up screaming in the dead of night or when their minds run wild imagining the hideous abominations that lurk in this book, they need only to repeat that one mantra: It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. And perhaps, if they’re lucky, the nightmares won’t escape.
The very best of Vincent V. Cava: "The Wendall Lane Diaries", "Neptune’s Fancy", "A Favor for a Favor", "At the Patio Door", and so much more.

I loved these mini stories. Some I wish would be turned into a full-length book! Mr. creepasta is my favourite narrator by far, he brings the characters to live
