Once I started I couldn't stop listening to this book! Easy to become very invested in the characters quickly due to the emotive writing and building of back stories. Well narrated.

Was super keen to read Georgia Tunney’s debut novel, but ended up downloading to listen while traveling. It never made it on the plane, once I started the intro to test it out I couldn’t take the air buds out of my ears. A fun, light yet complex, story of friendships, workplaces and Melbourne(!). All three main characters have multiple layers, threads I was keen to hear out right to the end. Glad it appears to leave quite a few to be picked up again in the next book?

I really enjoyed the story and I'm excited for Georgie's next story.

i wish Georgie had of read the audio book. as I know her voice so well it was disorienting.

Also the reader had distinct swallowing sound as she read it was very very distracting I had to turn it down to not hear it so missed some parts of the story.

Absolutely loved this book! I will never view breakfast television in the same way. Through very believable characters (best friends Carter, Naya and Greta) Georgie Tunny takes us into the terrifying world of the TV newsroom. Any woman contemplating a career in journalism needs to read this book in order to be thoroughly prepared. And any man contemplating a career in journalism needs to read this book in order to respect the privilege they hold just by being male, and to use their power for good. Any viewer of breakfast TV needs to read this book in order to see journalists as real people, with real lives, real feelings, and real families. I really hope this gets made into a mini-series. Georgie Tunny could play Carter, and Rob Mills would be brilliant as Tyler or Sly? I have a new favourite Australian author! I hope Georgie Tunny keeps writing!
