Its a modernday 'mad max' styled, father and son roadtrip. Oozing with nostalgia for country and for the hills. Action packed with near-future weapon tech, playing out in our backyard. Only wished The Bloods (OFC Footy Club) got a mention. Ill never be able to look at 5ways the same way.

Hi, I did find it hard to follow at first, but once I understood the story, I was on the edge of my seat for the rest of the book, right up to the last line.. looking forward to hearing more.

Holy shit it is good! I listen to 2-3 audiobooks a week ranging from the Gray Man series, Terminal List series to the Expanse and classic sci fi and I’m not meaning to just blow smoke you know where this stacks up with all of those! As a local resident to “The Hill” it made me super proud to it only have the locations I know and love so well described and represented but in a book that’s actually good. Thanks for cracking on with this book and I hope we see more of Jack and Harry. Also can confirm The Pig & Whistle in Olinda is the best pub in Melbourne a must visit and have a pint with the lads.

With global current tensions, this read could by a glimpse into a scary future.

Good action, cool tech, awesome characters. More of the Outrider. I loved it.
