Story
Thursdays aren't simply another day of the week for Amy Spencer and Ellis Hall. Thursday afternoons sizzle with no-strings sex for the two women, who meet each week in a hotel room to forget their past - and their present. The arrangement works perfectly for Amy, a busy surgeon who's still smarting from a failed relationship. For Ellis, Thursday afternoons act as a pressure valve from her cutthroat job and mistakes in her personal life she's trying to rectify. Soon they discover that their outside worlds are on a collision course with the carefully constructed world they've created.

Story
LA-based English indie filmmaker Alex Levitin reluctantly takes a job in New Zealand to save the "worst movie ever", Shezan: Mistress of the Forest. Things might go easier for her if she didn't almost run over the standoffish, beautiful local cop on her first day in town. And it'd really help if her film set wasn't being mysteriously sabotaged. When Ika Whenu's Senior Constable Sam Keegan isn't trying to stamp out a motorcycle gang drug problem afflicting her town, she's publicly slamming everything about the exploitative film and the Hollywood blow-ins making it.

Great.
I really enjoyed Outback Born. Yes, the beginning is a little hard to take. But life gets better for Alinta (Spelling?). I had already read the book. But enjoyed the audio.

Great start
This is the second book in this series that I have listened to, and I wish it was longer then 3 hours. But it was a good book that tackled some tough subjects with what I think is a good way, without going into to much detail and glorifying it. Can't wait for book #2
