About this listen

Orca - the killer whale - is one of the most intelligent creatures in the universe. He hunts in packs, like a wolf. Incredibly, he is the only animal other than man who kills for revenge. He has one mate, and if she is harmed by man, he will hunt down that person with a relentless, terrible vengeance -across seas, across time, across all obstacles.

This was not great. The ‘hero’ was not very appealing, he was misogynistic and unlikeable and I didn’t care what happened to him or any of the other characters.

The whale was underwhelming and not scary at all. Also they seemed to spend a lot of time on land discussing the whale more than being on the water getting attacked by it.

I gave up after about 4 hours, I couldn’t be bothered continuing, because I didn’t care what happened.

Honestly if you want a story with menacing Killer Whales, you’re better off reading Ice Station by Matthew Reilly.

Dated story with a misogynist pig ‘hero’
