About this listen

Oracle 2: The Dreamland Murders is a gripping psychological thriller series follow-up to Andrew Pyper’s audiobook Oracle. Performed by an ensemble cast with Joshua Jackson, Devon Bostick, and Humberly Gonzalez, Pyper's high-stakes thrill ride continues the journey of FBI agent Nate Russo as he tracks an elusive serial killer and discovers an ancient curse. This time, Russo’s unique psychic gifts and killer instincts will lead him to the secrets of an idyllic New England village, and to Dreamland—the abandoned amusement park built on something evil that refuses to stay buried.

I loved the first book, and this one was just as good. A brilliantly written story which was then retold by some fabulous voice actors. Made even better by Joshua Jacksons sexy smooth voice. 10/10

It was a good listen. The voice actors did a nice job, I personally prefer an actual audio book. A lot was lost by getting rid of the descriptive language. While sounds and noises make the drama movie- like, it loses its point without the descriptions of what is actually breaking, creaking, etc… all the things that make a novel such a rich literary trove. By adding movie like effects, the book charm was inadvertently subtracted. Hoping for the original format in Oracle 3, if it happens.

A great follow up to the first book, loved this story, well executed voices. It would be great to have follow up stories.

These are great stories, shame there are only 3. Good little series with twists that keep you engaged and entertained. Hope to see more stories in this series

Joshua and the cast once again deliver a great performance. a rich storyline with twists and turns. I don't think they could pick a more perfect person to be Nate than Joshua. if they ever made this is into a TV series Joshua would need to be the lead without a doubt.

a brilliant to sequel the first Oracle

I liked the story, and I thought the actors did a great job. However, they made it like it was a movie without the visuals (strange). The main problem was the overwhelming noise effects; the speech was often distant and echoed. It could have been done so much better.
