Director’s assistant Harlow Monroe loves classic romcoms to the point where he continually engineers meet-cutes in the hope of finding his perfect leading man. He prays to his deity of choice, Keanu Reaves, for success but they always end in disaster. Hedge fund manager Teddy Mullins lives in the apartment above Harlow and they’ve been best friends for years. Teddy agrees to a FWB arrangement in the hope it will lead to more. Like any good romcom, this was thoroughly enjoyable fluff with some really fun moments. Both characters are well-written, although Harlow would drive anyone crazy in real life. As always, Nick J Russo narrates the audio perfectly, moving between the comedic and tender moments with ease.
