His dad lives right next to my mom, and after the two of them suffered an unexplained accident while taking down holiday decorations, both Ryan and I were forced to become the only 30something residents of Sunny Creek Village Independent Senior Living Community.

Constantly thrown together by the antics of our crazy parents and the tough-as-nails community enforcer, Betty Matthews, Ryan and I formed an alliance for the sole purpose of survival. I needed something light and fun, this hit the spot!

What better backdrop for a rom-com than a retirement village. There were lot's of LOL moments and I thought that Carly and Ryan's parents Stella and Sal really made this book.

If you are looking for a light listen with a few good laughs, this book is for you.

Story very entertaining but nearly gave up on listening to this Audio version at all as the male narrator's voice to me is a major turnoff. Second narration I've come across that voice and nrarly returned the book. Totally saved by the female narrator so I persevered.. Light romp suited the mood I was seeking at the time
