Publisher's Summary

In today's world, physical and verbal abuse is unfortunately prevalent in many forms. It is disheartening to know that many people choose to hide this from others, living their lives in fear or shame. As the youngest member of a family of five, I felt compelled to write a book that could help others who may be going through the same experience.

The title of my book, "Onora Tua Madre," is an Italian phrase that translates to "Honor Thy Mother." This book is dedicated to the bravest woman I have ever known, my mother, Celestina. The story begins with a beautiful young girl navigating the streets of war-torn Italy, where she faced unimaginable challenges.

At the urging of family and friends, she decided to come to America, believing that its streets were paved with gold. However, what she discovered upon her arrival was far from what she had expected. The story of my mother's journey is one of resilience, courage, and the power of love.
