A truely captivating sequel with a new set of protagonists well intertwined with the characters we already know and love , phoebe, knox and Maeve are great additions to this world and are very impressively narrated in this audiobook

Highly highly recommended

An excellent sequel

They made the book soo good I pulled an all nighters to finish it, they need to make it less addictive… great book definitely recommend for teens and young adults.

JUST Great

This book was good listened to this almost everyday but some parts I didn’t really like some of the voices were a bit hard to listen to and the story was t as good as the first book hard to follow and quit predictable and there weren’t many plot twists that I didn’t expect but overall amazing story.

Good book

Really loves the first book, but this just felt like a very average follow up.
Didn't really feel any emotional connection to the three main characters. Maybe only Knox, what a sweetheart he was.
Only thing that kept me going til the end was any mention of Nate (and Bronwyn) lmao

The twist in the first book had me like whaaaaaaat!!
This one had me like umm ok??

Would I say it's worth reading? I guess so...

2.5 stars overall

Great narrations. Maeve was my favourite character. Did not see the final guilty person coming!

Not gonna lie, I didn’t enjoy this book a lot. There were still somethings I enjoyed but this book was a little bland to read. The plot twists were somewhat ok and that ending would have been amazing should it have been elaborated on. There seemed to be too many loose ends attached to this book and I didn’t like that. The first book was able to tie up some issues and left me on the edge of my seat whereas for this book, I felt unattached to the characters. The use of the characters from the first book threw me off too. They’re reappearance in many scenes didn’t interest or captivate me. The new characters had the potential to carry the weight of this book but I don’t think they were given the chance. Some situations seemed way too convenient and the in my opinion the characters may have been too young to deal with these kinds of issues. Overall, if this had been advertised as a sequel rather than some sort of companion novel, I may have had lower expectations. The writing wasn’t the issue here - rather the story and plot line.

Mediocre...
