About this listen

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury comes One Tuesday Morning, a heartrending, faith-anchored tale of memory, heroism, and second chances set against the tragedy of 9/11.

When Jake Bryan, a devoted New York City firefighter, awakens after the collapse of the Twin Towers with no memory of his life, one woman refuses to give up on him. Jamie Bryan sits at his bedside and slowly helps him rebuild the life they shared--daughter Sierra, the comforts of home, and the faith Jamie has quietly carried. But restoring Jake's past means guiding him back to the very thing Jamie never fully understood: a living faith that can change everything.

Tender, solemn, and ultimately redemptive, One Tuesday Morning commemorates the courage and sacrifice of that day while offering a moving portrait of love, loss, and God's faithfulness.

Very descriptive, well written..maybe a little to drawn out in parts, reflecting Gods timing.

An incredible journey..

I've read the paper copy of this before and its a great book so i wanted to give it a go through audio book. I'm just not a fan of the narration. There's a few different voice actors reading different sections. Just wasn't a fan of the voices they gave the characters, especially the voice of the male narrator trying to do a voice of a small girl. it's just irritating. I really struggled to get through it with this narration. Much prefer paper copy of this book.

Good story. Not a fan of narration

I couldn't stop listening. What a sad but beautiful story based around real events. So many life lessons.

Beautiful heart wrenching story

Karen Kingsbury has done a lovely job of piecing together God at work during September 11. While her writing style is predictable and often the plot twists are seen well in advance, this adds to the familiar and comforting feel that all of her novels exhibit. Eric goes on an incredible journey of faith that transforms him into a man after Gods own heart. I enjoyed following his story and cried several times at his awakening to Gods very real presence in all of our lives. Overall a 3.5 star read ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Predictable, familiar and comforting

As decent as the base line story is, there are almost as many recitals of scripture as a Sunday mass. Definitely written with the intention to influence readers towards Christianity. Narration is shared by a female and a male. The female narrator was great but the 50 -60 year old male would try to imitate the voice of a young girls character....it was creepy.

Very Religious Overtones.
