About this listen
Winter break wasn't supposed to turn into a whirlwind romance for Charlotte Hodges. She finds her dream pack landing in her lap, just a year before she's due to graduate.
But life is never that easy, especially when the men she falls in love with are all getting drafted to different hockey teams. Long distance is hard. It's even harder when the people you trusted the most aren't there for you in your worst moment.
Charlotte thought she could move on. They would never put her over hockey and Charlotte knows her worth. Unfortunately, she can't seem to forget about the three men she fell in love with on the ice. Especially when they'll do whatever it takes to make this pack work and prove they are the right Alphas for her.
Contains mature themes.

The bonus epilogue was great and the perfect way to wrap everything up.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. I liked hearing the slight differences in the voices for Eli, Anders, and Mikael. It was great that the bonus epilogue was included in the audiobook as well.
Poignant and heartbreaking at times

I loved these characters and how they did have to work on the relationship, not just relying on the match. It does include parent death, on page, which was heartbreaking, but the reality of grief was so well written. I also really loved that the relationships between the pack at different paces - as much as that caused so much more angst!
For a dual narration I think the narrators did an amazing job, particularly with the different accents. I really wish it was done in duet narration instead though, with this many characters it would have been so much more effective, particularly during the emotional scenes.
Look forward to continuing with the series, just might need a minute to sit in the happiness of that epilogue because now I know this author will cause the tears before happiness!
