Publisher's Summary

It was only supposed to be one night. We met at a wedding. He was hot. And I'd been in a year's drought.

He smiled. We got drunk. We flirted. We hooked up. I left early the next morning without saying good-bye. It was only meant to be a one-night stand. I didn't want the awkward morning-after moment. Not at all.

Then I went home for the weekend, and he was there - sitting on the couch and chatting with my dad. Turned out he was more than just a stranger. It turned out that my one-night stand was about to cause a whole heap of trouble. It turned out that it never just stops with one night.

Wow

This book had me feeling the emotions of the characters. How she knew that it was wrong but her love for him was to intense, as well as his love for her. Even though he didn’t know what it was at the time. Narration was awesome too.

One Night Stand

In my opinion the book was written in an immature manner and other narration did nothing to help the poor writing. Both were much too childish considering the content of the book. I will avoid this author in the future.

Welp this was a thing.

I finished it. But I never liked the characters like at all. It’s a good story I guess. I just didn’t like it. Narrator has a wonderful voice drew me in maybe that why I finished it.

This story is immature

Terrible, immature, weak and disgusting characters. There is nothing redeeming about this book at all.

A lot of misunderstandings that take away from what meager story there is.

The author handled the multiple stories/characters very well. While the sex scenes are hot, the character development is poor. Xander could have been a great character but he has such little development...from bad guy to saving African children in the blink of an eye. The wordy writing was that of an elementary school teacher. It felt as if the author was just talking down to the reader. I expected better from Cooper. What a waste of potential.

Can I give it negative stars?

Only putting one star because I can't put less. Soul-drainingly bad. Senseless plot, horrid storyline, unlikeable, less than one dimensional characters. Can't believe it got published. Childish and poor.

Annoying

The main female character in this book was kinda pathetic. She kept going back and forth with the male who was also very ridiculous. Very wishy washy. Just an annoying read. Couldn’t wait for it to be done.

One Night hot night

Liv and Xander meet and hook up at a wedding after a night of flirting and drinking. The next morning Liv leaves before Xander wakes up. She did not leave her name and number she just left so all contact was lost, at least that is what she thought. Then when Liv goes to her parents house for her sister's big announcement things get real when she sees him at her parents house sitting on their couch. WTF?? What Liv find out when she goes e for her sister's big announcement? That she is engaged to Xander! Things get interesting from there as Xander is still trying to get to Liv. What happens?? will Liv and Xander give into their chemistry, will she betray her sister? Is the engagement/marriage really as it seems? you will need to listen the book to find out.

Excellence!

One Night Stand begins this series in a most dramatic way! Alice challenges her best friend, Liv, to have a one night stand at the wedding they are attending. She laughs it off, but before she knows it, a handsome man is making a play for her attention. It's more than attention he got, it was full-fledged attraction. Somehow, they ended up in a closet, right outside the church sanctuary. It was the best encounter ever written! From here on in, all I could think about was Mr. Tongue. His real name is Xander and there is no doubt but that there's a future ahead for Liv and Mr. Tongue! I had to giggle at that entire scene but then it turned serious. Liv's older sister, Gabby, is a real piece of work and it's hard to like her at all! Gabby has come home to share a secret with her family, so Liv is called home. As she walks through the door, there's a sight in front of her that's just not possible. What is Xander doing in her living room! What she doesn't know is that he and Gabby have a connection and it's going to cause nothing but heartache and drama for them all. Fabulous book, fabulous narration!
