highly recommended
The first volume was excellent, but this is even better. Garner's writing gets even more precise as she ages, examining fragment after fragment of feeling, acting, seeing, loving, struggling, questioning, persisting. We are so lucky to have her read the diaries. I love her wry, tough, kind and honest voice.

loved it!
It simply bubbled along beautifully, seamlessly & effortlessly! incredibly relatqble particularly as a post 40 year old woman. Thank you Helen for another terrific piece of your work 👏
