Summary

Murder brought us together. Only death can keep us apart.

The Tormentor

Calista belongs to me... she just doesn't know it.

The first time we met, I wanted her.

The next time, I was obsessed.

I watched her.

I followed her.

It only deepened my need to possess her.

Once she's mine, I'm never letting her go.

The Target

Hayden Bennett is a monster, in and out of the courtroom.

Unfortunately, I need his help.

What was supposed to be a simple transaction turns into something else.

Something intense.

He's always there when I need him, but I don't know if trusting him is a good idea...

Once You're Mine is book one in the Possessing Her Duet and ends on a cliffhanger. It contains a morally gray hero who's OTT/JP, a stalker who falls first, has touch-her-and-die energy, and is willing to do whatever it takes to have her. Intended for mature listeners.

I really wanted to like this book but unfortunately the writing fell short for me. I didn’t connect with either character and their relationship was flat. Part of me was considering book 2 for answers to the mystery and then I remember how frustrating I found the male narrator.

It had potential

It definitely wasn’t a bad book, I did like it but every time the main characters talked, they’d be fighting. when they’d fight, it was just the same things being said over and over again and it was really irritating, so much of the problems could’ve been solved but that’s just me and how my mind works. Book one is definitely my favourite out of the two. The second one I struggled to get through as it got really repetitive and boring.

Miscommunication between the characters
