Publisher's Summary

Never before has there been a greater need for deeper listening and more open communication to cope with the complex problems facing our organizations, businesses, and societies. Renowned scientist David Bohm believed there was a better way for humanity to discover meaning and to achieve harmony. He identified creative dialogue, a sharing of assumptions and understanding, as a means by which the individual, and society as a whole, can learn more about themselves and others, and achieve a renewed sense of purpose.

Expand your communication and relationships

This book gave great insight into how to open the space for authentic, rich and clear communication with others (and much more than that). The ideas put forth on how groups can begin to open the door to new ways of thinking and dialoguing together (while minimising our own filters and conditioning) and creating a dynamic harmony between each other were invaluable, when either applied to work or everyday life.

Bohm Dialogue to transform human consciousness

I love this book so much that I considered reading it aloud on a voice recorder so that I could then listen to it and share it with others. I am incredibly grateful that someone else decided to create an audible!

On Dialogue can change your life and how you think and communicate.

What a Gem!!!!! Dialogue from Bohm

David Bohm was the quintessential sage and scientist. He understood very important real life issues. He was NOT abstract.
He influenced J Krishnamurti to speak more about "Dialog" our key to all communication.

As Krishnamurti said "The speaker is not an authority
We are sharing together
Learning together
Discovering together
Bravo and the Narration is superb love Don Hagen a lot...
more of this please..
Bohm's voice was not so mellifluous even in the hours of dialog with J Krishnamurti..but this narration brings it to a new level.

a message for our time

This book should be taught in school to all students in the US.

I felt very strongly that the narrator is pretty much awful. Going theough the motion of speaking only. Detracts from the mesning of the content. This is especially ironic in a book about dialogue.

Very Thought Provoking

I read the hard copy of this book more than 10 years ago. This second reading is like reading a brand new book.

If you are a student of the mind and of thought as a system, then this book is a must read.

This book is more than jus On Dialogue

It contains work frm his earlier books. Bohm has a great way of presenting Krishnamurti's teaching in an analytical form.

Unlearning habitual misconception through attention

Hard to get my mind round this content and so utterly rewarding. (I am just beginning) I can learn to be attentive to my thinking, develop proprioception for my thinking and in that way have more choice/clarity of how I perceive myself and the world. David Bohm shows me how I think/ act according to my attention. It can be a guidebook to how to treat the environment within and without myself less instrumental, more as someone participating in a whole.
