Publisher's Summary

When you make an enemy of a man like Vitaly Karahalios, there is nowhere on Earth you can go to escape his wrath. He'll find you. He found me; he found Roth. He found Layla.

He found us, and now the unthinkable has happened. Someone I love has been kidnapped.

Again.

This isn't a fairy tale.

Not everyone will get a happily ever after.

Sometimes we can't just walk away from the past.

Love doesn't always save the day.

The beast won't always get his beauty.

But maybe, just maybe, we can get our happy ending.

Solid finish

Book three in this series really brings it together. It focuses on Layla and Harris' relationship, which is so much better than Kiri and Roths. I found Layla a much more exciting and interesting character. She's strong, takes no sh!t, and is sassy. I find Kiri to be a bit of a pushover and naive. It's probably not a series I will reread for the third time.

COMPELLING, GRIPPING, INTENSE & VERY VERY HOT

The story picks up where Beta left off.... with Kyrie, Roth, Harris (the Bodyguard) and Layla (the best friend) sailing around the world on the super-yacht Eliza and they're desperately trying to outsmart the ruthless Crime Lord Vitaly in his quest for savage retribution. I was happy I got to hear more about Kyrie and Roth and their eventually HEA which this book clearly delivered however this is primarily about Harris and Layla because Layla ends up being collateral damage in Vitaly's deadly game of revenge.

Jasinda Wilder packs so much drama and nail-biting action into this listen which starts off at the end of the world... quite literally with a very frustrated Layla who's going stir crazy after 8 weeks on board ship and she's going to get cabin fever if she doesn't get off soon and.... erm 'interact' with others. But be careful what you wish for girl because Layla's life suddenly takes a terror filled and frightening turn when Vitaly's thugs catch up with them and she becomes a frightened pawn as she's manhandled, fondled and threatened back to an eagerly waiting Vitaly. And the only man that can save her is Harris but the chances of that are slim because just they don't get on, disagree at every turn and throw vicious looks at each other..... but still she prays over and over again "Harris is coming, Harris is coming".

Apart from the gripping action and chilling suspense Jasinda has created a strong, sassy and fiercely independent heroine in Layla who's got a wicked sense of humor and a determined streak that she'll need to enable her to fight for her life when the time comes with the help of her close friend Mr. Papermate who she's become intimately acquainted with!!! And Harris is a super-sexy, super-hot and super-Alpha hero who is more than capable of single-handedly rescuing his damsel in distress.... even though she's no meek and mild timid virgin. Thrills, chills, intense drama, exhilarating car chases, speeding bullets, kidnapping, danger, thugs with machine guns, witty banter, humor, passion, a push/pull romance and lots and lots of hot sex because this woman knows how to write about broody sexy men with insaciable libido's, hungry sexual appetites and the stamina to back it up!!

Worth a credit? This story is really in two parts so there's four POV's, it's an exciting third part and the conclusion of a trilogy, great narration, awesome characters, insanely hot with maybe a little too many sex scenes (never thought I'd say it) and a storyline that'll leave you breathless. Jasinda has delivered yet another amazing book which was definitely creditworthy.

One narrator really hurts the book

Would you try another book from Jasinda Wilder and/or Summer Roberts?

I love Jasinda's books when she use uses male AND female narrators

What did you like best about this story?

The action and hot love scenes

Would you listen to another book narrated by Summer Roberts?

If she wasn't reading all the male parts

Any additional comments?

I wish they would stop using women to read the male parts. It makes it very hard to picture a sexy , hot, gorgeous male when a woman voice is used. It really hurts the concept of what the author is trying to put across to the reader. I try not to purchase a book with only one narrator.

And the story continues!

Omega starts out following Roth and Kyrie where they left off during Beta but changes focus about half way through to Harris and Layla. Although my heart wants to be true to Roth, it just cannot help but falling in love with Harris! The body, the stealth, the agility, and the stamina.... what's not to love! I am sad to see this series ending but and happy too see that Jasinda has decided to continue Layla and Harris in Alpha One Security!

The narration was amazing, no complaints!

Great finish to trilogy!

In this audiobook, the story focuses mainly on Harris and Layla though we do see Roth and Kyrie from the first two books. Layla has a secret side no one knows about, not even her best friend Kyrie. Harris himself is a big mystery, but he’s a deadly skilled tactical specialist when it comes to protecting others. Kyrie tries to get the pair to notice each other, but gets rebuffed. When Layla is kidnapped off the island in an attempt to draw out Kyrie and Roth by Gina’s father, it’s up to Harris to figure out where she is to save her from the mobster. Except Layla is one tough chick who can save herself for the most part! There is a lot of violence and sex in this story. You MUST listen to first two books in this series or this book would be lost on you. Do Layla and Harris find the guts to admit to love? Narration was well performed. Overall a great ending.

Great Finale

What made the experience of listening to Omega the most enjoyable?

I just love Layla's character. The story is dramatic and action packed (with some steamy sex) but she makes me laugh more than anything!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Layla. The attitude, the comments. Who wouldn't want Layla for a best friend?

What does Summer Roberts bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I read all the books but Summer NAILS Layla.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I'm blank on this one. Probably a bit too steamy for a movie. ;-)

Any additional comments?

Loved this series! I've listened a few times!

What a series!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and know I will be listening again. This story had it all, suspense, intrigue, smoky sex scenes, twists and turns, and a wonderful set of characters. I highly recommend this series and look forward to more from Jasinda Wilder!

Could not relate to Layla... sorry

I just couldn't get into Layla... and her monologues that kept on going and going... the scenarios were too far fetched... to the point where it became predictable and then I lost interest. I did finish the story only because I liked Harris. But, most of the book is about Layla who just kept on rambling... a little too sassy for me!

I thought this book was going to be about Roth and Kyrie. Not at all. It's only about Layla. And, a little bit about Harris.

There are some graphic scenes that may be hard to digest...

The story had many moving parts with situations where I would say "ya right!". Over the top, mission impossible stuff.

Overall, I liked the story but not as much as the first and second book.

ReviewI listened to the Audiobook of Omega and I absolutely loved Summer Roberts narrating this. Her ability to portray each character so well is a gift! She handled the girls especially well and she was a joy to listen to. If you have not read Alpha-book one, or Beta-book two, go back and start there. It is essential to understand how the characters are where they are in Omega.

Well, I have to say this book was much different than I expected it to be. Given the way the other books rolled out, I was expecting the same type of book-even amped up from those. I enjoyed Omega-loved it even, but I felt it didn't wholly fit the series.

Kyrie St. Clarie and Valentine Roth are in hiding from Roth's former mentor and mob boss, Vitaly. Vitaly is out for revenge after what was done to his family-even though it was started by his family. Anyone and everyone close to Kyrie or Roth is on Vitaly's target list. No one is safe.

Layla Campari is Kyrie's best friend and was whisked away by Nicholas Harris-head of security for Roth, from her life to be with Kyrie on their boat the Eliza, for her protection.

Even with security being extremely tight, Kyrie and Roth have settled into there extravagant lifestyle. Layla is starting to go stir crazy. She's used to being busy with school and multiple jobs-not just lay around sunning herself every day! Kyrie suggests she let off a little steam with Harris, but Layla plays it off. Harris is hard and unyielding. Dedicated to his job, he doesn't dilly-dally with clients so it's not even on the table!

Vitaly strikes and Layla is taking hostage. Harris and Roth try to figure out where Vitaly takes her-but she's virtually vanished. This is where we get to know Layla on a personal level. I have to say she's a hard-core but hilarious woman. She credits her abilities to growing up in Detroit and that shit makes you real! I am in love with her! I was cracking up at some of her words and she is incredibly resourceful in a pinch! Even though her upbringing was just awful, she has a comical way about how she handles herself and life. The whole Bic pen scene had me laughing so hard!

Although it went in a much different direction that the other two in the series, Omega was well-written and a brilliant read. Tons of gun blazing action and of course over-the-top sex scenes! A couple went on rather long but they were scorching hot to read! I only have one negative, and that is the Vitaly ending. It seemed anti-climatic considering the story thus-far. I didn't know what to expect, but I wanted more for that.

Overall, the Alpha series is definitely worth your time to read! I am glad to see Harris is getting a spin-off series based on his Alpha One Security! That will offer us plenty of gun toting stories to get your blood pumping I am sure! Plus some much needed check-ins with the characters from the Alpha series that we have grown to love!
