Meanwhile, supernatural sleuth Alison has her own maudlin misadventure when her ex-husband, aka "The Swine", shows up in search of a second chance. Actress Amanda Ronconi captures the cozy quirkiness that informs author E. J. Copperman’s playful take on the paranormal. Ronconi reprises her role as haunted heroine Alison, an overworked, underappreciated mother - frequently fatigued, but nevertheless full of love, loyalty, and warmth for her family, both living and dead.

This was a lovely cosy paranormal mystery. Great story, well performed. Didn't realise it was part of a series. This can definitely be read as a stand alone book.

This was a NJ fun ghost series, definitely recommended for an New Jerseyans and those who appreciate them and humour. I’m enjoying the development of personal aspects too and wish Ali all the best!
