Publisher's Summary

#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Only a handful of fictional characters are recognized by first name alone. Dean Koontz’s Odd Thomas is one such literary hero, who has come alive in listeners’ imaginations as he explores the greatest mysteries of this world and the next with his inimitable wit, heart, and quiet gallantry. Now Koontz follows Odd as he is drawn onward, to a destiny he cannot imagine. Haunted by dreams of an all-encompassing red tide, Odd is pulled inexorably to the sea, to a small California coastal town where nothing is as it seems.

WARNING will make you walk around with an ODD GRIN

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes and any Dean Koontz fans, people who like fast paced paranormal thrillers and fans of Odd. Dean can write such a roller coaster of emotions into his characters who themselves are already unknowingly on a fast paced ride themselves. He just skips from having you laughing to being extremely creeped out within seconds, with a few good tension breakers thrown in for good measure. If you're after an adventure involving god knows what pick up an Odd book. Go for a ride.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Odd, he's just so bizarre and quirky and even though I've now seen Anton Yelchin take on his persona, which he did brilliantly. Odd's just a hilarious, outrageous and loveable character, who's been dealt a rough hand but always manages to keep on living life. Old Blue Eye's was pretty funny too as was his boss, what was the deal with that guy, too funny.

What does David Aaron Baker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I thought he did a great job, can't fault him.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Another good job seeks out need of some Odd
