The disadvantage of inheriting a considerable estate by an illegal trick is it puts the family of Mr. North at a disadvantage when someone tries to present a fraudulent will claiming half of that estate.

Timothy, the Duke of Trolenfield, and his new wife, Millicent (the sometimes "Mr. North"), depart to investigate the claim leaving the ladies of the Boarder family in Bath to enjoy themselves. Two single ladies, one seeking adventure, the other seeking security, are left unsupervised.

I adored Ridiculous and subsequently purchased Obstreperous immediately. Admittedly, I didn’t actually listen to it until a few months later but, blow me down with a feather (!), it was a fantastic listen and I enjoyed it very much. So much so that I revisited Ridiculous again and was just as entertained the second time around. Each very different stories, both, creative, amusing and cleverly written. These are must reads/listens. I just wish the author released more of this genre on Audible.

Fantastic further development of the secondary characters from the first book. A fun romance w a little mix up for the lovers to overcome. Really enjoyed it & so hope to see more of this author on audible soon.
