I bought the series to read and loved it but listening to it from the beginning is like reading the series all over again and the narrators are just like I thought the characters would sound.

I’ve read this book soooo many times and to find I can now listen to it on an evening, I’m in love… Nyx is ruff but gentle and Guilia is the same. I love the drama with the sweet butts and how it continues throughout the series. Trust me and read this series, you won’t have any regrets.

Slow to start with but ends well, female voice is a little old for the character, but enjoyed it in the end

I have had this book in my Tbr list for a while and after listening to the first chapter I am kicking myself. What a heroin to listen to. She's perfect for Nyx.
Serena has set the bar pretty high with Nyx.. Due to him being an enforcer. He needed to be hard as nails. However, Gulia is the perfect equivalent to him only in female form. In most of the romances, always, opposite attract. So this was a refreshing change. But I guess with a man as bad as Nyx, it stands that he should have this type of woman that can go toe to toe with him.
This was a roller coaster ride of emotion, Guila is the strongest sassy that I've listened to yet.
It was an easy storyline that followed an MC trope laced with grit and darkness. This is definitely a 1 per center club and Serena described the book just so.
The pace wasn't fast but moved along with a modicum of angst. Going from cynical to scowlingly annoyed, to love/hate confusion to the eventual epiphany for both our H/h's
I so love this amazing writing ,so thank you Serena for this series so excited to follow the rest of the sinners.
As for Connor Crais and C J Bloom just awesome. Connor portrays a smooth tone that is so perfect as Nyx
C J Bloom was wonderful at bringing Gulia to life..most of her narrations
are with heroines that are somewhat
tamer so this was a suprise for me. .
Great story and as the book ramps up
A subplot weaves through and is ready to continue on.
