About this listen

A shocking true story that reveals how one woman was tormented to the very depths of despair by her husband through coercive control and continual physical and sexual abuse.

Broken in mind, body and spirit and completely isolated from the rest of the world, Hannah thinks she’ll never find the strength to escape, until one day an opportunity arrives…

Thais is very sad but true story of domestic violence at its worst! I was a victim of the similar abuse Hannah endured and unless you’ve been there it’s hard to believe how powerless women can be under the control of psychopath! Hannah you are the strongest person I came across in my life! Una Byrne has a lovely voice and her narration is excellent! Lindsey, mother in law has a lot to answer for! This book is a must to read as it is an eye opener to humanity regarding seriousness of domestic violence and how every one of us can help.
