Story
Emily has always felt like an outsider, so when a family friend takes her under his wing she is delighted. But soon it becomes clear that his motives are not all they seem. At the age of 11, Emily is groomed into being a ‘county lines’ drug trafficker. It is the beginning of a vicious cycle that sees her become prey to one abuser after another, involving a huge child-sex-trafficking gang. The scale of the abuse—at the hands of hundreds of men—is sickening, and at times it feels like there will never be an escape. But then, in the darkest of moments, a ray of light shines....

Story
I was born and broken in Birkenhead, abused from infancy by a network of every kind of pervert from ‘thinks it’s love’ to ‘show it hurts’. I was unwanted, beaten, sold, swapped, photographed, filmed, left for dead, corrupted, blamed, betrayed, ignored and orphaned. But I was also born with a fire inside me. I call it my Phoenix Fire. I am no victim—that word only describes what happened to me. Nor am I a survivor because that implies I am over it. I am a Phoenix—a work in progress. This is my story....

Story
Writing this memoir has to be one of the hardest things I have ever achieved. Out of respect for the dead, this story has been told exactly how it happened. I was born in 1985 in Lancashire, England, to two alcoholic parents. Having selfish parents left me exposed to abuse, poverty, and crime. My loving grandparents helped me the best they could at the weekends, but life was barely survivable.

On 19 July 2016, Claire and Charlotte Hart were murdered in broad daylight, by the family's father, using a sawed-off shotgun. He then committed suicide. Luke and Ryan Hart, the two surviving sons, open up about their experiences growing up and the circumstances surrounding the murders. True Survivor
Thais is very sad but true story of domestic violence at its worst! I was a victim of the similar abuse Hannah endured and unless you’ve been there it’s hard to believe how powerless women can be under the control of psychopath! Hannah you are the strongest person I came across in my life! Una Byrne has a lovely voice and her narration is excellent! Lindsey, mother in law has a lot to answer for! This book is a must to read as it is an eye opener to humanity regarding seriousness of domestic violence and how every one of us can help.

Brave woman
I sat through every minute of this book with out stopping, once you start you’ll be hooked. What a horrible life this poor women was forced to face on a daily basis, yet she comes out stronger and ready to face the world head on.. I’m still confused as to why the girls got taken from her, why did the system take away 2 children from a mother who was a capable one too but being a victim of abuse stopped this?
