About this listen

Danielle

What's that saying? When life hands you lemons...

What if I don't want to make lemonade? What if I want to pummel them into non-existence? Anything is better than admitting how desperately I want a taste of that sweet lemonade.

That's exactly how I felt when my college assignment threw me in the direction of Miller Cain.

My body screams for him while my brain warns me to run for the hills.

He's the captain of the ice hockey team with a cocky reputation. He's a sweet talker and the bad boy promising me the ride of my life.

Miller Cain is bad for my health.

I just need to last one year without falling into his bed.

Should be easy, right?

Miller

She came crashing into my world like a tornado.

Sexy as hell, an absolute firecracker with deadly green eyes.

I want her. In fact, I need her, and I'll do whatever it takes to make her mine.

Not Your Pucking Girl is a new adult college sports romance with a HEA. Intended for mature listeners.

A great listen! I loved the dual narration. Awesome character building, definitely recommend listening to this! Who doesn’t love a hockey romance

There was a never a dull moment with Dani and Miller - I loved all the high and lows of their journey because that's what life is all about...

There was definitely some good character development along the way - Dani turning into a bad ass was a win and then a perfect happy ending...

I definitely enjoyed it.

Never a Dull Moment!!

I honestly enjoyed the storyline from start to finish. I was a little confused about the prologue, but it was cleared up soon enough…. Like I said, I enjoyed this story

Enjoyable to read

It’s getting tougher to listen to these Alpha-hole man-whore stories with the female lead so dull, it’s amazing the story was made into a whole novel, let alone a series. In this offering, the male lead becomes an overnight loyal hero who thinks so highly of himself and his sexual talents, that it’s surprising he doesn’t have his own Only Fans account. The female lead is apparently career driven but throws it all away before the end of chapter 2 for the hockey captain who can’t seem to lose. She is also a victim of domestic violence but doesn’t seem overly concerned to jump straight into a new relationship/bed with the male lead. There are several quick moments of emotional distress that highlight the characters are indeed human (cue the 90210 serious scene music). The conversation is shallow, the characters have minimal chemistry and of course, the details are lacking (the hockey is barely a focus, the chemistry doesn’t build, the characters lack any 3 dimensional qualities) and let’s not ever forget the oh so positive messaging of the female being on the pill so the leads can have the sexually unprotected experience straight up despite both being in college and barely knowing each other. It’s the TV college experience where everyone is good looking with minimal issues, minimal career aspirations for the women and no money issues (eye roll). Cue the end credits. Please, roll them now……

Boring, no character or story depth

Not me thinking this is another light hockey romance book. Nope! This one doesn’t just hit you in the feels it punches hard.

Ouch

I really enjoyed listening to this, the narrator's did so well and make it an enjoyable listen but the story was really good, it was a little predictable but I still liked it.

This was fantastic

This was painful to finish. I disliked every character, the story was just nonsense, the narrators sounded like game show hosts or infomercial voiceovers.

Every cringy overused cliché is in there

The first half of the book was fantastic, then the second half happened. It was like they were trying to squeeze in all the possible tropes in a short amount of time but not explore any of them. Now I remember why I stopped reading the first time I got my half's on this book

Great first half, interesting 2nd

sometimes there is such a thing as too much smut and this book is a prime example. it started off great and I liked where it was going but at like 3/4 way through they decided to just shove so much plot and traumatic event after traumatic event in there which is resolved lightning fast and you get whiplash cause one second they're life is literally burning around them and then they're happy having sex on a plane like hello wtf is happening

can y'all stop having sex for 5 minutes please
