I've never listened to Holly Jackson stuff before but I'm a genuine fan now. Such an enthralling story of twists and turns. A lot of characters to get your head around but generally all glued to together well.

Downside was the Narration. I think Alex McKenna tried her hardest but there were just too many characters to give everyone a plausible uniqueness. Some of the voices were down right annoying which detracted from the overall storyline. Maybe needed more narrators or just stick with Hard copy.

Overall an enjoyable read (listen).

This book has it all. The story with its many twists was outstanding and characters, especially Jet and Nilly became my friends. I laughed, held my breath and cried.
My only negative was the narrator, for me her voices just didn’t match the characters but it was still outstanding.
A must read!

I’ve loved all the holly Jackson books but this is incredible, I can’t begin to put into words how much I love it. Not a specific thing that stood out, not something special about the narrator, just, everything. This book is amazing.

*SPOILER ALERT* I love a good tense Holly Jackson ending, where in the last 50 pages everything gets thrown at you and it all clicks but this one? I was very bummed that Jet didn’t get to figure it out her self and that the ending was just Billy connecting everything. But other than that I loved this book!

Clever, original storyline and well executed. Great book, but recommend reading not listening. The voicing of her BF and supporting characters makes them all seem very juvenile and squeaky which takes away from the tension.
