Trine skal begynde i en ny klasse, og det er ikke hverken første, anden eller tredje gang, hun prøver det. Hendes familie flytter nemlig ret tit. Hun glæder sig overhovedet ikke, for det er ikke let, når ens mor er sørøver og ens far har et loppecirkus.
