Cara Baston is a phenomenal writer of human lives, she gives such heart and soul that the characters become real and they live with you forever. Just like her books Ready or Not & Promise Me Sunshine, this one is stunningly beautiful. Alex is the absolute perfect narrator - her understanding of the characters, her tone and pacing, she's immaculate. You will fall in love with Roz & Vin.

A beautiful story about falling back in love, never giving up, learning to communicate and not presume, how to grow as a human, how to accept the things you cannot change and how being creative is a balm for the soul.

Bastone writes beautiful realistic sex scenes and Alex narrates with such precision that you feel fully enveloped with the love and desire.

ps. there is a small tie into a previous book, and it's so beautiful.

To say that I loved this book is an understatement.

The story itself was beautifully written and hit all the right places, and the narration just elevated the story.

There’s not much else to say other than this was magnificent. I’m not surprised. Everything Cara Bastone writes is magnificent.

This story is really important touching on life issues from grief to anger to love. Unfortunately the publishers chose to only have one narrator when this story was from 2 people. The male voice was diminished because of the narration often hard to hear and at times unbearable. Please, please, please honour the story and have the right people narrate.
