Narration excellent! Liked it all! Easy flowing and and easy to follow listen!
Above explains all really or just repeating, great book, haven’t heard that narrator but was good and believable!!

The attention to detail is spot on.
All the stories come together to make the ending just as good as the Bosch series were/still is.
Michael certainly does not disappoint.

The Island story
The book finished without telling the full story, the work place situation should have been finalised, otherwise I enjoyed this book

Storyline
The main part of the story was fragmented but overall it was good. An earlier introduction to how Stilwell ended up on Catalina would be better IMO

Just really enjoyed this
Enjoyed the details and different stories interconnecting so good. Good to have highs and lows plus Michael really brings the stories together at the end

Poor story
Not vintage Connelly. Disappointing. I have read all his books and loved all of them. This one is not in that calibre.

Eagerly anticipated but very disappointing
It is actually hard to believe Michael Connelly wrote Nightshade. A few chapters short of the end I finally gave up and put this one down. I tried to like it but just don't. I just didn't care how it ended. Not able to engage with the characters or the story. I appreciate authors need to find new story lines and characters but this combination just does not work for me.
