I LOVED this book..... I found it funny, shocking, intruiguing, informative and touching.

A real look at the realities of working in these fields.

Highly recommend this if you are a fan of the forensics side of true crime.

I had really hoped for an informative look at the world of CSI and forensics, and I know to many these kinds of books are too dry and clinical. But what is this woman’s problem? She’s so needlessly mean. This is not “gallows humour”. This is actively crapping on other people, victims of crime, people who live in poverty or have addictions/disabilities. The author seems to think everyone around her is ugly/stupid/poor. I’m an incredibly jaded and cynical person, believe me. But this woman is next level. Such a shame. The cases themselves were interesting, but her characterisations of others were just cruel.
