I’m a big fan of The Housemaid but the other books of hers I’ve read so far are a bit too contrived. I really appreciate her dark story lines but this is too clever for its own good and leaves you feeling lied to too many times.

Loved it. Great voice and slight tweaks for character voices. The story itself had us guessing (wrongly) and wondering what twist might be coming up, didn’t expect that! The story did a great job at setting up a likely twist and throwing a curve ball, but the journey itself was enjoyable and engaging throughout. Recommend!

I thought I had it all worked out but I’ll tell ya I was happily surprised at the twist I didn’t see coming. Well written story, kept me intrigued the whole way through

Just when you think you've figured out the characters..... nope. Enjoyed the multiple characters and their foibles.

The ending was too predictable and the story line was a cliche. The narrator was clear and spoke well but lacked the ability to build suspense and give the character tone. Freida is a talented writter but this wasn't her best.

Such a great book, had me hooked the whole way thru I finished it in one day! I enjoyed the way it was pieced together and the ending was well done. The narration was great too, easy to know which character was speaking. I think I've found my new fav author
