Brilliantly written
Ken Follett is a brilliant writer who rarely writes anything but an excellent read. This is so different to anything else in his catalog, but it is enthralling, terrifying and superb.

Complex & Brilliant
Follett is a genius. Such intricacy and depth and yet easy to follow. I listened at 1.5x speed.
