Little Jamey, 2½ years old, is placed with experienced foster carer, Cathy Glass, as an emergency.

The police and social services have no choice but to remove two-year-old Jamey from home after his mother leaves him alone all night to go out partying.

So I’ve read all of Cathy’s books and loved them all! sadly here in New Zealand we have COVID everywhere at present, for the first time. It feels very stressful indeed. Reading is often an escape, but I have had to have brakes from reading , too much COVID!! And today my 14 year old tested positive! Wish me luck 🍀

I’ve read nearly all of Cathy’s books and love them. Unfortunately I felt like this one was way too much about covid, I know that this was all new when she wrote the story but listening to the book years after the start of covid was a bit boring, especially when she went into minor details about it all. I wish she focused more on the story of Jamey.
