This is a “spend time with the characters” short in the Perfect Hands series involving couples Rhys and Cornell (from Firm Hand #1) and Brendan and Raf (from Gentle Hand #2) and shouldn’t be read as a standalone. It follows the characters in the lead up to and including the first Christmas Day since Jonas has passed. It’s sweet, fluffy, and spicy but I would have loved more of a plot. Kenneth Obi narrates the audio perfectly. Looking forward to Slow Hand (#4), the next full book!

As part of the story in book 1 and 2 it's great but as a standalone I fail to get anything out of it. There's no real purpose of this book other than adding a bit of spice. No character development or emotional connection, just a look into their lives. I did not need this book and wish I had gone straight to the next one.
