Publisher's Summary
Peace has been decades in the making, but chaos is just the press of a button away?
Jack Emery is happier than he has been in a long time. Nobody has shot at him or tried to blow him up for years, and he's learned to love the job he thought he'd hate: Special Advisor to the President of the United States?
But nothing can prepare Jack for the work to come. As America continues to heal from self-inflicted wounds, an ambitious President McGhinnist draws closer to achieving the impossible: peace between Israelis and Palestinians?
As the countdown to peace reaches zero, a desperate group of hardline Israelis invoke the Samson Option, a secret protocol that will eradicate the peace agreement and pave the way for the destruction of America and the Middle East?
Jack has learned the hard way that when a crisis knocks, you don't always get the chance to ignore it.

A World Divided
Zionists intend to use nuclear weapons to destroy the world to stop a peace agreement between Israel and Palestine. I was gifted this from the author.

Another Good Thriller by Steve P. Vincent
Nations Divide by Steve P. Vincent is another great thriller. As with his previous Jack Emery books it is well written, interesting, and fast paced. A definite page turner. The audio book is nicely narrated and well done. Thank you Steve Vincent.

Another great story
After listening to this Jack Emory story, I still think Book 2 is my favorite, but this one did not disappoint either. I enjoyed how detailed the book was and how much the author delved into the backgrounds and mindsets of the characters, giving you a much deeper understanding of why their thought process led to their actions. The only thing about the story I did not like, was near the end. There was no explanation for what happened on the sub, it built to a crescendo of what was happening, and then just quit talking about it. It really left me wanting more because I want to know what happened.
Two corrections to the book I can across was the narrator’s use of “M16” when it should be “MI6”. The printed book had it correct, it was just read wrong. The other, is one most people probably would not notice, and that was the use of the word “clip” when it should be “magazine” when talking about reloading firearms. A clip is one you’d use for a fully-automatic firearm and a magazine is what is used in most semi-autos, all pistols, etc.
But, overall, it was a great book and I cannot wait to read, or listen to, the next one!

Enjoyable listening
This is the third book of the series, in which I was sent a free copy by Steve in the hope for a true and honest review. As I said the Steve and others that allow me to have the pleasure to either read or listen too. When I started listening to this book, I didn't expect it to go full circle. The development of the characters again was outstanding, giving the listeners an understanding of where the depth of feeling came from. I think that Steve could have spent a little more time of how the crew was able to take control of the sub and how the Captain was detained. One other point Steve the British Secret Service is called MI6 not M16, not sure if this could be changes? Looking forward to listening to book 4.

great listen
I thought the author did a great job at giving a good listen, giving a story with a nice plot, interesting characters, with danger, a few thrills, and excitement. Very fast-paced, intense and gripping it is a true political thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat with lots of danger and a man who is at his wit ends. Jack pulls his self together after his world falls apart to bring you one exciting read that holds your attention with a story and plot that leaves you wanting more.
The narrator did a great job bring true emotions, with only one place where he repeated a set of words. His character voices were good, I thought they fit the character but was really different from the first book, since listened to them back to back it took me a little while to get use to the change. I did think he did a better job of narration then the one who narrator the first book. His voice is easy to listen to, the audio moves smoothly from one chapter to the next. There is no volume changing, and no background noise. I thought he did a great job and I really enjoyed his work.

better than the first two
I listen to the 1st 2 and was somewhat disappointed but did not give up on it. The 3rd book started bringing things together a bit better but the narration leaves a lot to be desired.

Just how hard is peace in the Middle East?
While the story to some may seem far-fetched I thought it was a very realistic portrayal of what could happen if we ever did achieve the "2 state solution" between Israel and Palestine. Not everyone is happy with the resolution reached and a new terror group emerges ( which is actually a very old one) to oppose the peace deal with the threat of nuclear weapons. Lots of twists and turns in this one and surprises.
Jake Emery is back and now working for the President and helping to stop the peace agreement from going up in smoke...literally.
A nice thriller that takes us all around the world and gives some interesting perspectives from different viewpoints on any possible peace deal between Israel and Palestine.
Narration good once again with several accents thrown in to make it sound more realistic.
Hope this isn't the end of adventures for Jack Emery.

Scary world makes for Great story
I really enjoyed this book and never know quite what to expect from this author, other than a great book.
This time the hero Jack Emery has given up his reporting days and is an adviser to the president, which would have been good if only his boss wasn't trying to broker peace between Israel and Palestine. Jack soon finds out he has to save the world again but with the threat of a nuclear bomb, the body count raising, himself under gunfire and not knowing who to trust will he be able to succeed and keep the girl?
I think this is my favourite Jack book so far, as so much is going on it keeps you listening until the end.The narrator helps as he does a good job with all the different voices. Still not sure his voice of Jack is what I picture him looking like, but I would still recommend the series. If you like a bit more action ( as this is a political thriller) then I would recommend the authors Mitch Herron series.

Great Story! Great Narration!
Nations Divided by Steve P Vincent pulled me in from the very beginning. I so enjoy the Jack Emery stories. This is a thrilling listen that includes the threat of nuclear war and a potential peace treaty between Israel and Palestine. I loved how the author had new perspectives from different point of views on the peace between Israel and Palestine. Todd Menesses performed this book wonderfully. I could hear exactly who was speaking and I loved the accents. The twists in this book were brilliant, and the imagery was very vivid. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.
