About this listen

A headstrong woman and a protective man with an Alpha attitude are sharing passionate nights together . . . but is their relationship beyond physical?

Night time is the right time….

Gwendolyn Kidd has met the man of her dreams. He's hot, he's sexy, and what started as a no-names-exchanged night of passion has blossomed into a year and a half-long pleasure fest. Sure, it's a little strange that he only appears in her bed at night, but Gwen is so sure he's the one, she just can't turn him away….

Hawk Delgado knows more about Gwen than she could ever imagine. She's gorgeous, headstrong, and skittish about relationships. But Hawk is facing his own demons, demons that keep him from connecting with anyone. Yet when Gwen is drawn into Denver's lethal underground scene, Hawk's protective nature comes out full force. The problem is, when Gwen gets a dose of Hawk's Alpha attitude in the daylight, she's not so sure he's the one anymore….

She also published Too Good To be True, her first-ever murder mystery romance in an episodic format on Kindle Vella. She now writes full-time. Although romance is her genre, the prevailing themes running through all of Kristen’s novels are friendship, family and a strong sisterhood. To this end, and as a way to thank her readers for their support, Kristen has created the Rock Chick Nation, a series of programs that are designed to give back to her readers and promote a strong female community. Unfortunately the narrator ruined this book for me. Somehow, the men's voices were pitched higher than the female voices so quite confusing and annoying. She also has a ditzy voice which grates on my nerves. The storyline itself was ok, not Kristen Ashley's best work. It's a bit odd, when the whole story is based on two people sleeping together for 1.5years and not knowing each other's names. It does get slightly better but I won't be rushing back to reread.

Took a bit to get used to the narrator but once the story got going the fit was right. Kristen Ashley writes fast paced, action, suspense, fun, romance story's enjoyable from beginning to end. Loved the Rock Chick cross over (another fabulous series)!

This story was the beginning of my love for all things Kristen Ashley. I have read this countless times and still get the butterflies and the breathtaking experience that is Hawk and Gwens story

captivating

The heroine was narcissistic.
She was supposedly 30- ish but acted like a teenager.
She dressed like a hooker, drank like a fish, and her diet was gross!

The men were panting after her and they were all alpha males with good jobs employing many.
Unbelievable that this was so...

The setting was seedy and rough
The story had some merit.

Crazy
