I feel like this book has pried open the usually unseen layers that clearly comes with fame. Being a young woman in the public eye is clearly a difficult endeavour , but Lily articulates the experience with aplomb. My respect for her has grown 10 fold. A worthy read for everyone , no matter your opinion of Lily

I liked how honest Lily was in this book about her childhood, career, love, even sex, drugs and mental illness. I think this book is great for everyone, especially women.

Ive followed Lily Allens career since LDN & Smile. Naturally this book was a must read (listen). Very invasive, brutally honest and regularly heartbreaking, this book shows how fame is like Pandoras box. How even someone talented and adored can be deeply scarred by societal pressures of just being a woman, a daughter and a mother as well as being in the public eye.
i would recommend this as it showcases what is happening now, and how we as a gender still need to move forward and support each other regardless of our beginnings, middles and futures.

I had credits to waste and used one on this book thinking nothing more of it. After listening to this book I can honestly say... Even if you don't like her or her song's you will love this book. It's a no bullshit take on her life that can feel relatable in areas.
I have alot of respect for Lily after listening to this.
