I definitely wouldn’t have liked to have lived in those times. However, this novel lets the listeners have glimpses back into the past and it is well written. The one thing listening to talking books has done is to provide me with a various tales that I wouldn’t have had time to read. I am glad that this treat landed on my horizon.

Wow, the research is impressive.

I love Eliz Knights writing. She has a way of presenting the characters as in real life. I felt every thing that happened. It was a moving, captivating story. Well done
