A comical, fantastical and witty re-imagining of the Tudor world, perfect for fans of The Princess Bride.

Lady Jane Grey, 16, is about to be married to a total stranger – and caught up in an insidious plot to rob her cousin, King Edward, of his throne. But that’s the least of Jane’s problems. She’s also about to become Queen of England. Like that could go wrong.

My Lady Jane was an absolute delight on audiobook. The narrator’s performance is superb, bringing every quirky character to life with perfect comic timing. The story had me laughing out loud more than once, thanks to its witty dialogue and wonderfully absurd humour. It’s a refreshing twist on real history, blending historical events with fantasy in a way that’s clever, unexpected, and endlessly entertaining. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something genuinely fun and different.
